I started making jewellery because I couldn't find a single statement piece that didn't leave my skin red and irritated by the end of the day - so I made my own.
That was the whole problem, really. I wanted jewellery that was bold - pieces that said something, that felt like me - but everything I tried either irritated my skin or felt too boring to actually wear the way I wanted to. So I started learning to make my own pieces, in materials I trusted, designed the way I actually wanted to wear them.
That's still the whole idea behind Abigail Wedderburn. Every piece is made with real materials, made for real skin, designed to be worn, not just owned. Nothing here is meant to sit in a box. It's meant to be layered, stacked, worn every single day until it feels like part of you.
